Unwavering

Definition: Steady, Resolute; Not wavering

I love words. Especially powerful words that can be used to describe many different things. This word "unwavering" can be used to describe so many concepts in our Christian school. We are teaching our students to have unwavering faith in their Lord and Savior. We encourage them to have unwavering determination in their school work. And most of all, we model what it means to give and receive unwavering love to people around us.

You see, our students are learning what it means to be loyal, steadfast, dedicated, constant, and unshaken.  If you really think about it, these are all attributes of strong relationships.

We are teaching them to be in relationship.

            • Relationship with Christ
            • Relationship with Self
            • Relationship with People.

As we focus on relationships we grow closer to God. We care for people, we pray for people, we help people, and all of these things help us strengthen our relationship with God. We cry out to Him, we call His name, we ask for His healing, blessing, forgiveness. And as we do these things, we see His work, His unwavering love for us.

Ephesians 4:2-3 says "Be humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."

Join me as we build relationships and model for our children what it means to be unwavering!!
